Embodying the unspoken
Embodying the unspoken - the experience of medical care, place, memory, movement. An installation based performance by Anna Emilsson and Richard Widerberg. The piece investigates what’s human in the body of illness and the history of medical care.
Body interrupted
Body Interrupted. The piece is a trio based on the idea of how one physically relates to one’s own body and other bodies, what expectations, presumptions in a metaphysical sense, one has within those relationships and how there is a constant shift as human beings are alive, non-fixed creatures.
Cravings of intimacy and solitude
‘What do you crave? Considering what we crave in order to formulate and inform who we are, as well as our perceptions of the relationships we form with other people.’
I mellanrum

I invite you
I invite you created and performed by Anna Emilsson in 2014 for Steneby Konsthall, Sweden.
Sometimes I forget to stop. Sometimes we as humans forget, and have forgotten, to pause. Finding those moments in-between. To leave space for the presence.
Krumt
‘Having the room as a starting point, the flat, the space. A meditative questioning of the room in which we exist. A constant change of the very present. In here we can challenge proximity, the personal sphere, our expectations; of the room, others and ourselves. Body meets space, meets movement, meets images, will be meeting sound in a tactile non-perfection.’
